There is a quote from Minor White that says
“I’m always mentally photographing everything as practice.”
Everywhere I go and in everything I do, whether I have a camera physically in my hands or not, I am photographing something. It annoys my family sometimes. It annoys me sometimes (especially when I see something I want to photograph and don’t have my camera!).
I often wonder if painters have the same problem. Do they mentally paint everything they see? Or do they have more self control than photographers?
And just to prove that I will actually find ART in something mundane and ordinary…
Yes, some people see a regular fence. I see an opportunity to make art.
