English Garden

“The artist is the confidant of nature, flowers carry on dialogues with him through the graceful bending of their stems and the harmoniously tinted nuances of their blossoms. Every flower has a cordial word which nature directs towards him.”
 ~Auguste Rodin

New photographers starting in the business always ask “What can I do to practice when I don’t have clients?” Part of learning photography is learning to use your available light and working in confined and very small spaces. And that is why nature photography is very helpful to new photographers. You can’t move your subjects. You can control the light they are in (unless you stand over them to shade them.). And they pretty much pose however they want to. It’s up to you to do all the moving. (Great rehearsals for those prime lenses!).
This image was edited with textures from my shop. It has the texture English Garden from the Add Some Color Texture Collection overlayed twice.
