Sofie {Senior Portraits}

Fall is the perfect time for getting out and shooting some images. Even better when you have a beautiful Senior step in front of your camera at a gorgeous location.
The light was amazing. The colors were phenomenal. She is stunning.
That all makes for a perfect day!
All those colors are real. That tree had so much orange on it that it was just unreal.

One of the really cool things about this location is the white sand. It made it look like we were shooting in snow with vibrant Fall colors!

Love all the Autumn colors in this one!
She is such a beautiful young woman. And oh so photogenic!

This dress has some amazing embroidery on it. And the red shoes with the Fall colors was spectacular!
I love it when my clients introduce me to new places. This day was absolutely amazing! She was so much fun to have in front of my camera and I just love, love, love all the resulting images from this shoot!
Thanks Sofie and Christy for a wonderful day and for introducing me to your family spot!

The Heart of Van Gogh

My love for art has always been at the forefront of my love for photography. I love incorporating pieces of art and pieces of photography and blending them to make pieces that I fall in love with over and over and over again.

One of my favorite artists of all time….Vincent Van Gogh. He needs no explanation as to why I love him so much. But he inspired this set. Which is why it is called the Heart of Van Gogh. He put every fiber of his being into his work, and especially his heart.

These textures are so beautiful on images!

Textures included:
Absinthe
Being Painterly
Bleaching Ground
Cafe Au Charbonnage
Daubigny’s Garden
Le Trustesse Durera Toujours
One Paris
Miners in the Snow
Love is Many Things
Madness
To Theo
The Hague
The Crack of Dawn
Peace in the Storm
The Poet’s Garden

Paint My Dream
and of course…….

Beauty Inspired

I always love finding women who are comfortable in front of the camera, comfortable with themselves, and when those women are this naturally beautiful….well, even better! There is just something about porcelain skin in photographs that is so beautiful to me. It’s like a work of art all on it’s own.

Meghan is such a beauty inside and out, she follows her own style and is so comfortable in her own skin. That radiates throughout all of her photographs and when you meet her in person, you just know that what you see is what you get.

“The world is changed because you are made of ivory and gold.
The curves of your lips rewrite history.”
