Sofie {Senior Portraits}

Fall is the perfect time for getting out and shooting some images. Even better when you have a beautiful Senior step in front of your camera at a gorgeous location.
The light was amazing. The colors were phenomenal. She is stunning.
That all makes for a perfect day!
All those colors are real. That tree had so much orange on it that it was just unreal.

One of the really cool things about this location is the white sand. It made it look like we were shooting in snow with vibrant Fall colors!

Love all the Autumn colors in this one!
She is such a beautiful young woman. And oh so photogenic!

This dress has some amazing embroidery on it. And the red shoes with the Fall colors was spectacular!
I love it when my clients introduce me to new places. This day was absolutely amazing! She was so much fun to have in front of my camera and I just love, love, love all the resulting images from this shoot!
Thanks Sofie and Christy for a wonderful day and for introducing me to your family spot!

Any photo shoot will keep you on your toes, but photographing teens really will! They have way more energy than you probably do, they are very creative, and they LOVE to have fun.
Recently we did this fun shoot in the city and had a blast!
(And that crown she brought…I love it! It was just perfect for that look we were going for!)

Alone {Horror}

From childhood’s hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

Brayden {One Year}

Sometimes I get so caught up in shooting and editing and then doing creative shoots that I forget to showcase what I am working on!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this Lil’ Guy….I shot his newborn images and here we are now a whole year later.  And we have some beautiful Fall colors for these images too! ♥

My how the time has just gone by. He has definitely mastered that walking…and running. He gives his Mama and Daddy a workout all day, every day.

(His Mama made the chalkboard from an idea she saw on Pinterest.
Love me some Pinterest! ♥)
