Myra {Senior Portraits}

Fall has been so kind to us here in St. Louis. The colors, the weather…it’s just been perfect. And with great weather and beautiful colors comes fabulous shooting weather! This was one of my favorites to do because her Mama is a very good friend of mine. I adore this girl and her family. She is not only absolutely gorgeous, but she is also very kind and amazingly intelligent. Clients like this make my job incredibly easy!

Sofie {Senior Portraits}

Fall is the perfect time for getting out and shooting some images. Even better when you have a beautiful Senior step in front of your camera at a gorgeous location.
The light was amazing. The colors were phenomenal. She is stunning.
That all makes for a perfect day!
All those colors are real. That tree had so much orange on it that it was just unreal.

One of the really cool things about this location is the white sand. It made it look like we were shooting in snow with vibrant Fall colors!

Love all the Autumn colors in this one!
She is such a beautiful young woman. And oh so photogenic!

This dress has some amazing embroidery on it. And the red shoes with the Fall colors was spectacular!
I love it when my clients introduce me to new places. This day was absolutely amazing! She was so much fun to have in front of my camera and I just love, love, love all the resulting images from this shoot!
Thanks Sofie and Christy for a wonderful day and for introducing me to your family spot!

Mary {Senior Pics}

Senior pics are always so much fun! I love helping seniors capture these moments of a year that they will remember forever!

Mary is one versatile senior! She is smart, beautiful and can play just about any instrument you put in front of her. I know her Mom and Dad are super proud of her!

I look forward to having her in front of my camera again (and again!) !!!

Yesterday we had some rain and it kept waiting and waiting to show up. I was afraid it was going to interfere with Vince’s Senior Session, but luckily, the skies cleared and we ended up with a great day to be out. (It was warm, but no rain!)

Vince was great. Anything I asked him to do, he did. And then I just let him be himself in front of the camera too. His Mom seemed happy just to have him in front of the camera without trying to hide! ☺ (As oh so many boys tend to do!)

What a great young man he is. But he has wonderful parents who taught him well.

(And incidentally, when I found out that we both loved the same Harry Potter book–The Prisoner of Azkaban–I knew we had to work that book into a shot or two and so we did! And it’s one of my favorites!)

Changes…and more.

I have been hard at work, even though you haven’t seen it here. I have been working on my website, editing photos, sending photos to the lab for printing and working on some other behind-the-scenes kinda things here. And I have been doing lots of other little tasks here that have been on my to-do list for some time now!

One of my favorite changes now is that clients can now pay for sessions using a credit card or their PayPal account! How awesome is that? Pretty awesome and super convenient, if you ask me.

Also I am getting ready to start recruiting some Senior Reps too! Senior Reps earn **free** (yes, free!) rewards for promoting my business!! It will be a super easy way for seniors to get more photos to share with their family and friends (and save a little money for things like college!).

I can’t forget to mention that the blog is going to get a beauty makeover too. Yay! (And yes, that makes me happy too!)

Even though the skies are gray and there is rain, rain, rain everywhere….we are doing some Spring cleaning here and getting ready for a busy season!
